Proof That It’s Christmas Time

Christ­mas comes early this year.  How do I know that?  Why would I make such a claim Pre-Thanksgiving and Pre-OSU v. Michi­gan?  Well, on today’s trip to the Dorothy Lane Mar­ket I dis­cov­ered proof that the hol­i­days are here — Great Lakes Brew­ing Company’s Christ­mas Ale.

This is one of the most deli­cious beers I have had the plea­sure of enjoy­ing, and it only comes out at Christ­mas time.  For those of you out there who enjoy a great brew, pick up a 6 pack for your­self.  Of course, for those who have had Great Lakes Beers, this is no sur­prise.  The com­pany makes a num­ber of excel­lent sea­sonal and reg­u­lar beers.  From Elliot Ness to Dort­munder Gold, Black Out Stout to Burn­ing River, you can not go wrong with Great Lakes.  (Dis­claimer: This is not a paid endorse­ment, but if you work at Great Lakes and want to send me free beer, that would be alright.)
