I agree, the Meadowlark is a wonderful place to eat. Both my sons are vegetarians, so I just had to have a hamburger. Wow! My friend Jill got the hamburger as well. We both loved it, and we plan to be back. The service was great and I loved the laid back atmosphere. Oh, and you must try the banana fritters. It was soooooooo good. Did I say I can't wait to go back!

Me, Slow...Yeah, I resemble that remark:)

Thanks David. I love all of the places you listed. Especially Flying Pizza! Worked all through college at the Fairborn store. The Best!

you are a little slow Mr. Bowman-
it's been open a while, one of the former owners of the Winds opened it.
It's hidden behind a sea of mediocre chain places- and right next to Half-Price Books.
The food is great- it's one of the great independent restaurants in Dayton- not to far away is Eclipse on 48 just S. of Franklin- see www.eclipsedining.com it's another great independent- owned by the same people who own the Blue Moon in the Oregon District. Other favorites down your way are Sushi Cafe, the Gyro Palace and Flying Pizza.
All affordable- all independent- and all great!
