The White House on the Web

While it remains to be seen just how effec­tive the new admin­is­tra­tion will be in restor­ing pros­per­ity to our land, if the White House web site is any indi­ca­tor we are headed for bet­ter days.  The site has a fresh new look and quite a bit of added func­tion­al­ity.  Check out www.whitehouse.gov.

The site has a fresh new look, con­tains photo slideshows, a blog, poli­cies, links to depart­ments, biogra­phies, his­tor­i­cal infor­ma­tion about the Pres­i­dency, the White House, pol­icy ini­tia­tives, exec­u­tive orders, and just about any­thing else per­tain­ing to the exec­u­tive branch of our gov­ern­ment.  Bet­ter yet it has RSS feeds, mak­ing it sim­ple to stay abreast of new devel­op­ments and pol­icy initiatives.

Great to see our gov­ern­ment embrac­ing tech­nol­ogy — a step in the right direction.
