White Castle: “Make Superbowl Monday a Holiday!”

Thanks to Adrants for point­ing me to this gem from White Cas­tle.  In their lat­est mar­ket­ing push, White Cas­tle is encour­ag­ing peo­ple to take the day after the Super­bowl off of work– cre­at­ing a new de facto hol­i­day.  You can even sign a peti­tion to legit­imize the day.  Take it from me, if you sit around on Super­bowl Sun­day slam­ming White Cas­tle, you will need to take off Mon­day.  Should you decide to mix in some cheap beer dur­ing the big game, you might as well plan to take Tues­day and Wednes­day off too.  Enjoy the Super­bowl, and pro­ceed with cau­tion.  Voice your opin­ions on White Castle’s pro­mo­tion, Super­bowl Ads, or even cheap beer by leav­ing a com­ment here on voice.

    Haha. We used to call them ‘slid­ers’ in col­lege because well…they don’t really stay with you very long. Do you think WC thought long and hard as to the con­nec­tion between eat­ing their prod­uct and need­ing the day off after­wards? Adrants took me to http://www.halftimeflush.com too. Maybe they should do a cross-promotion with White Castle.
